This songwriter demonstrates extreme versatility in the writing of both lyrics and music—a sweeping and colorful catalog of very singable, very listenable pieces. Great care has been taken to gather together "the right singers for the right songs" to demonstrate Karen’s work. The selections available for sampling on the site have been treated with utmost respect by each of the featured artists, and many of the songs are being heard in this venue for the first time. Extremely talented performers, including Lisa Asher, Scott Coulter, Sarah Dacey Charles, Frank Dain, Zoë Lyons, Marieann Meringolo, Connie Pachl, Avery Sommers, and Alton Fitzgerald White, among others, have combined to make the works of this songwriter come off the page in unique and thoroughly delightful ways, and the orchestrations of Doyle Newmyer, Jeff Waxman, Dennis Buck, Douglas Oberhamer, and Rolf Barnes have been nothing short of inspired.

Karen Benedetto Songs, was formed in the Fall of 1998 as the catalyst whereby the works of this engaging songwriter can be heard. It all began with two inspirational pieces, "Living in the Flow" and "Stillpoint (Here In This Place)", which were first recorded on audio cassette and have been sung to members of a variety of churches, spiritual centers and other non-profit organizations. Both vocal and instrumental versions of each of these moving pieces are available through KarenBenedettoSongs.com on audio  cassette, and "Living in the Flow" has been translated into Japanese, French, and Spanish, to enhance its universal appeal.

"Peace Songs" is a section of the website devoted to "The Call", written in response to the tragedy of 9/11/01. This powerful and timeless anthem of healing and unity has been heard far and wide as it has been allowed to share its vision of higher ideals in a changed world.

THE DEBUT CD OF KAREN’S SONGS IS NOW AVAILABLE, and features voices of the Broadway, cabaret, and concert stages sensitively handling this eclectic and exciting collection of 17 songs.
