[Vocal intro to the tune of the traditional hymn…] Oh, come let us adore him, Christ the Lord.

It was a night that was unlike any night, A baby born in a stable on the hay. Angels came to the shepherds in their fields To tell them where the baby lay.

They traveled down through the valleys and the streams To see this child who was sent from God above This new Messiah who had come to change the world And deliver all to love.

Behold the night so holy.
Rejoice in the glory of His birth.
The heavens all smiled upon this child
He was the love of God on earth.

No greater hope has a mother for her child. Mary smiled as she watched the baby sleep. For she knew that he was the Son of God And he had promises to keep.

Jesus came so that we could know the truth, A simple message to lead us on our way. He knew that Love was the only way to God, And that’s still the same today.

Behold the night so holy
Rejoice in the glory of His birth.
The heavens all smiled upon this child
He was the love of God on earth.

[Bridge – to the tune of traditional hymn, ‘O Holy Night’]
Oh night divine…
Oh night when Christ was born…

Behold the night so holy
Rejoice in the glory of His birth.
His gift to man—God’s heavenly plan.
To bring the love of God to earth.

His gift to man—God’s heavenly plan.
To bring the love of God to earth.
